I don't know if the couches are fabric or not but fabric couches are known harbors of dust mites, etc. Not sanitary. Plus all the drinks and food get spilled in them! The worst is if they try to cover them with one of those slip covers... C'mon!
I am totally with you on this. I feel a little better on leather, but I usually opt for the wooden chairs. And how about those crusty high-chairs that we are supposed to put our little children into that are rarely washed and never disinfected. Yuck!
